These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Handydove as a service professional. By tapping "I agree" or continuing to offer services on the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms.
You acknowledge that you are an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, or partner of Handydove. You control how, when, and where you perform your services. Handydove does not supervise your work, set your service prices, or guarantee you any minimum income or number of bookings.
You must be at least 18 years old, legally permitted to offer your services, and capable of entering binding agreements. You are responsible for your account security and all activity under it. You agree to provide accurate profile information, maintain only one account, and keep your contact details up to date.
Handydove uses your live GPS location to help clients discover you when you open the app. You control your availability and service area. You agree not to misrepresent where you operate or your ability to perform a requested service.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Handydove is responsible for the personal data you give us. By accepting, you agree that we use it only for the purposes in our Privacy Policy: your phone number to sign you in and, once you accept a request, so you and the client can call; your locations, services and profile so clients near you can find you; the ads and shop items you publish, which anyone in the app can see; and your jobs, chats, reviews and reports to run jobs and keep the Platform safe. We never sell your data. You can see a summary of your data in Settings → Your data & privacy, correct it in your profile, and withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account (this does not undo what was lawfully done before). You can also name someone to act for you if you die or cannot act for yourself. Handydove is only for people aged 18 or older. Grievance Officer: Haresh Shukla, support@handydove.com. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days; requests to remove content that invades privacy, impersonates someone or is sexual or obscene are handled within 72 hours. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
When you accept a session, you enter into a direct arrangement with the client. You are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and legality of the services you provide, including any licenses, permits, or insurance required in your jurisdiction. Communicate professionally and honor agreed-upon appointments.
Clients may share request photos, and either party may send photos, files, or short videos in job chat. That media is only for coordinating the session. You must not repost, sell, or misuse client media outside the job without their clear permission. You must not upload illegal, harmful, sexually explicit, or infringing content. Job media is retained for a limited time under product rules and is not a permanent archive.
Professionals may publish a Home billboard (local and/or nationwide inventory when available). Local placements typically use images and text; nationwide placements may also include a short muted promotional video subject to length, format, and size limits shown in the app. Buying or claiming a slot purchases advertising inventory on Handydove — it does not guarantee leads, bookings, rankings, or any particular number of views. Handydove may change slot counts, duration, pricing, eligibility, and feature availability, and may pause or revoke campaigns for policy, safety, fraud, inventory, or operational reasons. Complimentary or first-local offers, when offered, are subject to the rules shown at claim time.
You are solely responsible for your billboard headline, body text, images, and video. Creative must be truthful, non-misleading, and lawful. Prohibited content includes illegal offers, hate or harassment, adult sexual content, discrimination, impersonation, malware, and material that infringes others’ IP, privacy, or publicity rights (including music, logos, talent, or people appearing in your creative without clearance). Handydove does not pre-approve every creative and has no duty to monitor all ads, but may refuse, remove, or revoke any placement without refund when these standards are breached or when required for safety or legal compliance.
You may list goods and services in a Pro Shop: names, descriptions, prices (fixed, "from" or "on request"), units, stock, up to three photos per item and one PDF catalog. You are the seller. You confirm that you own or may sell everything you list, that your listings are true, complete and not misleading, and that prices include what a buyer must pay (or say clearly what is extra). Your shop is visible to clients only while it is open under the rules shown in the app (for example, while you have a Home ad running, or with fewer items after it ends), and Handydove can switch shops off for everyone at any time; your items are kept.
You may not list anything that is illegal or needs a licence you do not hold, or: drugs or narcotics, alcohol, tobacco, gutkha or vapes, weapons or ammunition, gambling, betting or lottery, adult or sexual services, fake, forged or duplicate documents, hacking or account services, black magic or similar services, stolen or counterfeit goods, medicines that need a prescription, and anything unsafe or misleading. Food sellers must hold a valid FSSAI registration or licence and follow food-safety rules; packaged goods must follow labelling and MRP rules. You are responsible for any taxes (such as GST) and invoices for what you sell.
A shop order is a request from a client with the items they chose; it does not oblige you to sell. If you accept it, you agree the final price, delivery or pickup, timing, returns, refunds and warranty directly with the client, and you collect payment directly. Honour what you agreed and the price you listed. Handydove does not collect, hold or refund money for shop orders and is not a party to your sale. You must not use shop listings or catalogs to move clients off the Platform before you accept a request.
Shops are checked automatically, without a person reviewing them first. Item text, photos, ad pictures and every page of your catalog are read (including text inside pictures) and refused if they show a phone number, email, web link or social media handle, contact words, or items that are not allowed. Photos are saved again without location and camera details. Catalogs are rebuilt with only their pages (no links, comments, attachments or scripts) and limited in size and pages. Clients see "FSSAI licensed", not your FSSAI number. Passing these checks does not mean Handydove approves a listing: you remain responsible for everything in your shop.
Clients can complain to the grievance officer shown on your shop. Handydove may, without notice, remove or hide items or your catalog, stop you uploading a catalog, close your shop (for example when your Home ad is revoked) or suspend your account if a listing breaks these Terms or the law, or after credible complaints. We may share your seller details with a client, the grievance officer or authorities when the law requires it. You agree to answer complaints about your orders promptly and to indemnify Handydove against claims arising from what you list or sell.
Whenever you list a service or item, publish an ad or quote a price, you confirm that: the description, price, photos and other details are true, accurate and not misleading; you own or may use everything you upload; you hold any registration or licence the law needs for what you offer (for example FSSAI for food); and you will provide what you advertise at the stated price and handle returns, refunds and warranty as you agreed with the client. This is your undertaking under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
You set your own service pricing unless Platform features specify otherwise. You agree not to use Handydove solely to solicit off-platform transactions in order to avoid applicable policies or fees. Fees for Home advertising or other Handydove products may be charged through third-party payment processors (such as Razorpay). Those fees are generally non-refundable once inventory is allocated or a campaign is activated, except where required by law or where Handydove states otherwise. Handydove is not responsible for collecting payment from clients for your services unless explicitly stated, and is not a party to payment disputes between you and clients.
You agree to treat clients and other users with respect. Harassment, discrimination, fraud, misrepresentation of qualifications, and unsafe practices are prohibited. Handydove may remove listings, restrict visibility, revoke advertising, or suspend accounts that violate these standards or receive credible reports of misconduct.
You must not post, upload, share or send anything on Handydove that: belongs to someone else and you have no right to; is obscene, pornographic or paedophilic, or invades someone's privacy, including bodily privacy; is insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, or is racially or ethnically objectionable; promotes money laundering or gambling, or enmity between groups; is harmful to children; infringes a patent, trademark, copyright or other right; deceives or misleads anyone about where a message comes from, or knowingly spreads false or misleading information; impersonates another person; threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, its friendly relations with other countries or public order, incites an offence or obstructs an investigation; contains viruses or code meant to damage or interrupt any computer resource; or breaks any law. If you do, we may remove it, suspend or close your account, and report it to the authorities where the law requires. Removed content and the related account details are kept for 180 days, as the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 require.
Handydove branding and Platform software are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you upload (including bio, skills, billboard text, images, and video). You grant Handydove a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, resize, transcode, display, and distribute that content on the Platform (including autoplaying muted billboard video where enabled) for as long as needed to operate advertising and discovery features. You warrant that you have all rights and clearances required for that content.
We may pause or remove your profile or advertising if you breach these Terms, receive repeated credible complaints, or create legal or safety risk. You may pause or delete your account at any time. Obligations that should reasonably survive termination (such as indemnity and liability limits) will continue to apply.
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Handydove is not liable for lost income, client disputes, property damage, advertising performance, or other indirect damages arising from your use of the Platform. You agree to indemnify Handydove against claims arising from your services, your advertising creative, or your breach of these Terms.
Report a user or a job in the app, chat with support, or write to our Grievance Officer, Haresh Shukla, support@handydove.com. Every report and support chat gets a ticket number you can follow in Settings → Your data & privacy. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days; requests to remove content that invades privacy, impersonates someone or is sexual or obscene are handled within 72 hours. If you disagree with our decision about content, you can appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee (gac.gov.in) within 30 days. For a complaint about your personal data you can also go to the Data Protection Board of India, and for a consumer complaint to the National Consumer Helpline (1915) or a consumer commission.
Handydove's legal name, address and customer-care contact are shown under “Who we are” in our Privacy Policy (handydove.com/privacy) and in the app (Settings → Your data & privacy). Our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy (handydove.com/refunds) and How Results Are Ranked (handydove.com/ranking) explain how the Platform works; please read them.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When a new version is published, you may need to accept it before continuing to offer services. Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@handydove.com.
